Abstract
⺠The data on the nutritive value of instant food products are scarce. ⺠We determined the total and soluble silicon contents in Polish instant products. ⺠They are a rich source of total silicon, in contrast to soluble silicon contents. ⺠Total silicon contents negatively correlate with percentage of soluble silicon contents. ⺠The actual amount of silicon absorbed from these products needs further research.
