Abstract
► The data on the nutritive value of instant food products are scarce. ► We determined the total and soluble silicon contents in Polish instant products. ► They are a rich source of total silicon, in contrast to soluble silicon contents. ► Total silicon contents negatively correlate with percentage of soluble silicon contents. ► The actual amount of silicon absorbed from these products needs further research.
