Abstract
► Actinidia eriantha is a low flavour kiwifruit, but contains many bound volatiles. ► Alcohols, terpenoids and phenolics were the most numerous bound volatiles found. ► Several of the bound compounds found are precursors of odorous volatiles. ► Linoleic and linolenic acid were important components of the bound volatile extract.
