Abstract
► Anti-inflammatory responses were evaluated on LPS-induced mouse macrophages. ► Tocotrienol-rich fraction (TRF) showed better anti-inflammatory activity than α-tocopherol (T) and α-tocopheryl acetate (TA). ► TRF significantly reduced NO, PGE2, TNF-α, IFN-γ, IL-1β and IL-6 production. ► TRF but not T and TA effectively blocked iNOS and COX-2 expression. ► TRF also showed a greater inhibition on the LPS-induced NF-κB activation.
