Abstract
⺠We investigated inclusion complexation between flavanones and cyclodextrins (CDs). ⺠We found hydrophobic interaction is the key driving force for the inclusion process. ⺠The complex was likely stabilised by H-bonds between flavanone B ring and CD cavity.
