Abstract
⺠We study the anti-inflammatory effects of phloretin and phlorizin. ⺠Phloretin reduces the levels IL-6, TNF-α, iNOS and COX-2 via NF-κB and MAPK. ⺠Phlorizin does not suppress the inflammatory response. ⺠Phloretin can develop as an anti-inflammatory drug or health food.
