Abstract
⺠Five octopamine derivatives and five dopamine derivatives were synthesised. ⺠The structural importance for antioxidant and tyrosinase inhibitory activities of all the compounds were researched. ⺠Octopamine derivatives showed more inhibitory effects on tyrosinase than dopamine derivatives. ⺠Dopamine derivatives exhibited more potent antioxidant activities than octopamine derivatives.
