Abstract
⺠Rubeanic acid has functional groups, so can be coordinated to chromium. ⺠The procedure is based on reduction of complexes of chromium with rubeanic acid after accumulation at the surface of a HMDE. ⺠The adsorbed complex produce a strong peaks at about â1.4 V. ⺠Nitrate can be catalysed the reduction current. ⺠The peak current can be used for ultra trace quantification of chromium in food samples.
