Abstract
⺠Investigation of the antioxidant activity of wild-grown caper from Dalmatia. ⺠Methyl isothiocyanate was detected as major volatile compounds in caper essential oil. ⺠Rutin and chlorogenic acid were detected as dominant compounds in caper aqueous infusion. ⺠High-inhibitory effect of oil and infusion on HT-29 cell proliferation and NF-κB activation. ⺠Caper oil and infusion blocked the cell cycle at G2/M phase.
