► Nanoscale ursolic acid (UA) was made by a supercritical antisolvent process. ► Mean particle size of processed UA is 139.2 ± 19.7 nm, irregularly spherical. ► Dissolution rate and oral bioavailability of nanoscale UA increased significantly.
