Abstract
⺠The antihyperlipidaemic effects of the ethanol extract of Zingiber zerumbet (EEZZ) was studied. ⺠EEZZ reduced the accumulation of visceral fat and improved hyperlipidemia in high-fat diet-fed rats. ⺠EEZZ increased lipid metabolism through the up-regulation of hepatic PPARα expression.
