Abstract
► A novel method for free-radical scavenging activity analysis is proposed. ► The method combines TLC separation with the use of image processing program. ► Data analysis by means of ImageJ - a free and open source program is proposed. ► The activities of extracts are expressed as Standard Activity Coefficients (SACs). ► The method is easy, cheap and could be available for every analytical laboratory.
