Abstract
⺠First complete chemical analysis of cultivated Ulva clathrata. ⺠Dietary fibre, protein and ash levels are high and consistent with other Ulvales. ⺠U. clathrata lipids, mainly in MSS samples, contained more PUFAs than other Ulvales. ⺠Carotenoid levels were high, although probably reduced by non-optimal drying.
