Abstract
⺠HPLC-ELSD method to analyse platycosides from the balloon flower root was developed. ⺠The method was suitable for the analysis of 18 platycosides for quality control. ⺠Roots of balloon flower could be clustered into three groups based on platycoside content. ⺠Classification of Platycodi Radix was associated to the geographical location of cultivation area.
