Abstract
► In this study we setup a DNA based method for rice products traceability. ► Detect the presence of adulteration in Basmati commercial rice products. ► Setup protocols based on High Resolution Melting (HRM) analysis. ► Used microsatellite and fragrance typing with HRM analysis. ► We conclude that HRM is a sensitive, low cost method for adulteration detection.
