Abstract
⺠In this study we setup a DNA based method for rice products traceability. ⺠Detect the presence of adulteration in Basmati commercial rice products. ⺠Setup protocols based on High Resolution Melting (HRM) analysis. ⺠Used microsatellite and fragrance typing with HRM analysis. ⺠We conclude that HRM is a sensitive, low cost method for adulteration detection.
