Abstract
⺠Liquorice activated P-gp and CYP3A4. ⺠Liquorice significantly decreased the oral bioavailability of cyclosporine. ⺠Liquorice is contraindicated for patients treated with cyclosporine. ⺠Concurrent use of liquorice with substrates of P-gp and CYP3A4 should be exercised with caution.
