Abstract
⺠Staphylococcus aureus resist inversely against nisin and LMWC according to surface charges. ⺠Alanine uptake reduces surface charge and resistance of S. aureus to nisin. ⺠The reduced surface net charge can enhance the colonization capacity of S. aureus.
