Abstract
⺠Anthocyanin types and total content vary among different rice cultivars. ⺠The antioxidant capacity of coloured rice is mainly found in the seed capsule. ⺠Coloured rice cultivars show stronger antioxidant activities than white rice. ⺠Antioxidant capacity is mainly due to the other phenolic compound instead of anthocyanin content.
