Abstract
⺠This study is targeted to determine the element contents of 23 herbal drugs. ⺠Cd, Cr, Pb and Ni were lower than permissible limit as prescribed by WHO. ⺠Chemometric procedures appear useful tools for the classification of herbal drugs. ⺠Chemometrics can be used in quality control of drugs to ensure their safety.
