Abstract
► Gynostemma pentaphyllum Makino (GP) is a botanical widely used in tea and food. ► Chemical composition and antioxidant capacity differed greatly in commercial G. pentaphyllum samples. ► Nine flavonoids were identified in these samples by HPLC/MS. ► Based on fingerprinting profiles, the samples could be classified into three groups by PCA.
