Abstract
⺠Schisandra chinensis (SC) reduced the expression of C/EBPs and PPARγ in 3T3-L1. ⺠SC inhibited the phosphorylation of Akt and GSK3β. ⺠SC blocked adipocyte differentiation and adipogenesis in 3T3-L1 cells. ⺠SC reduced lipid content and body fatness, and body weight gain in HFD-rats.
