Abstract
⺠The method developed uses less solvent and sample than traditional methods. ⺠The oil from fried food stall contains higher proportion of heavy PAHs. ⺠The PAHs level could be used for quality discrimination of vegetable oils. ⺠A large-scale investigation of the PAHs levels in edible oils in China is required.
