Abstract
► We evaluate a proprietary method that increased extraction of lycopene from tomato. ► Extraction of the cis-lycopene isomer, which is more bioavailable, increased to 43%. ► Extraction of other carotenoids in tomato also increased. ► This method thereby can deliver greater health benefits from tomato.
