► We use EDUF technology for the fractionation of snow crab by-products hydrolysate. ► We recover an anionic peptide fraction which exhibited antibacterial peptide. ► We detect a specific 814 Da peptide molecular weight. ► We propose that this peptide is responsible for antibacterial properties.
