Abstract
⺠FTIR potential for discrimination of defective and non-defective coffees is shown. ⺠Defective beans consisted of: black, light sour, dark sour and immature. ⺠Separation of non-defective coffees based on transmission spectra derivatives. ⺠Separation of non-defective coffees based on reflectance spectra (DRIFTS). ⺠Two groups separated by ATR: non-defective/light sour and black/immature/dark sour.
