Abstract
⺠Whole lupin and its protein isolate reduced cholesterol levels in hamsters. ⺠Hepatoprotective effect by consumption the whole lupin and its protein isolate. ⺠Protein isolate at lupin, acts in endogenous effect on metabolism of cholesterol. ⺠The lupin have the potential to be used as functional food.
