Abstract
► Ethylene gas is encapsulated into α-cyclodextrin. ► Ethylene concentration remains unchanged in inclusion complex but complex yield increases over pressure and time changes. ► Crystalline complex is characterised by X-ray diffractometry, solid-state NMR, thermal analysis, scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
