Abstract
► A method for identification of active compounds in vegetal extracts is proposed. ► The method is based on correlation analysis between HPLC-MS data and bioactivity. ► The method also provides a prediction of bioactivity in new samples. ► It has been successfully applied to 22 samples of phenolic extract of olive oil.
