Abstract
⺠Phillyrin inhibits high glucose-induced lipid accumulation by suppressing fatty acid synthase (FAS). ⺠Phillyrin inhibits FAS expression through modulation of SREBP-1c activation. ⺠Phillyrin promotes AMPKα phosphorylation in human HepG2 hepatocytes. ⺠Phillyrin-induced activation of AMPK is regulated by LKB1.
