Abstract
► Aureobasidium pullulans culture was conditioned to produce FOS. ► FOS was investigated as an antidiabetic in Poloxamer-407-induced T2DM rats. ► FOS enhanced antioxidant and antihyperglycaemic activity. ► FOS increased beneficial bacterial population in the caecum. ► Gold and Glide docking showed FOS as a potent DPP-IV inhibitor and PPAR-γ agonist.
