Abstract
► Oil acidity is lowered by almost half when integrating vacuum drainage. ► Oxidative deterioration was lower by 12% after applying vacuum drainage. ► Total colour difference was improved by 14% in the case of vacuum drainage. ► Minimal reduction in polar compounds and viscosity after applying vacuum drainage. ► Fatty acid compositions were less affected in the case of atmospheric drainage.
