Abstract
► SP-700 macroporous resin was selected to separate sulforaphene from radish seeds. ► The sulforaphene-rich extract was obtained by resin-based column chromatography. ► The sulforaphene-rich extract was successfully purified by preparative HPLC. ► The purified compound was identified as sulforaphene by ESI/MS, 1H NMR and 13C NMR. ► A method was developed to allow quantification of sulforaphene in extracts by HPLC.
