Abstract
► VIS micro Raman spectra have clear differences for green Arabica and Robusta coffee. ► Reliability of principal component (PC) analysis was up to 93% within first two PCs. ► Both lipid and chlorogenic acid (CGA) Raman bands can be used for discrimination. ► Variations of the distribution of CGA over the bean cross section have been observed.
