Abstract
⺠Spine grape is an important wild plant species in South China. ⺠Baiyu, a very rare white spine grape variety, was examined in this study. ⺠The phenolic content and antioxidant activity of spine grapes were evaluated. ⺠Junzi #1 had the highest phenolic content and the strongest antioxidant activity. ⺠Baiyu had higher phenolic content and antioxidant activity than some wine grapes.
