Abstract
⺠Food adulteration is addressed by multivariate analysis. ⺠Non-controlled experimental changes give rise to poor classification performance. ⺠Applying standardization methods in a classification context. ⺠PDS is used to correct changes in UV-visible spectra. ⺠After standardization, the prediction's ability of the multivariate model is kept.
