Abstract
► CdTe QDs could effectively enhance sensitivity of calcein/K3Fe(CN)6 CL reaction. ► A new CL system of CdTe/calcein/K3Fe(CN)6 was developed. ► Energy transfer process using CdTe QDs as energy donor and CL of calcein as acceptor. ► Highly sensitive and selective for determination of polyphenols. ► CL analysis for determination of hyperin from plant extracts.
