Abstract
⺠The Devil's club showed the strong antioxidant and anti-proliferation activity. ⺠The CHCl3 extract contained more bioactive phenolics than other solvent extracts. ⺠Eight bioactive compounds in the plant were identified with the aid of HPLC-UV-MS. ⺠The ferulic acid and its derivatives contributed to the antioxidant ability of the Devil's club.
