Abstract
⺠A novel new biocatalyst of immobilised enzymes was developed, using a low/zero cost mica clay support. ⺠Lipase immobilisation was performed by straightforward, easy and cheap procedures. ⺠Activity and operational stability of biocatalysts were observed. ⺠New immobilised biocatalysts were successfully employed for sugar ester production.
