Abstract
⺠3β-Monoglucuronyl-18β-glycyrrhetinic acid is a metabolite of glycyrrhizin. ⺠Urine excretion profile of 3β-monoglucuronyl-18β-glycyrrhetinic acid was determined. ⺠Six volunteers ingested 600 mg of glycyrrhizin in the morning and, after 2 weeks, in the evening. ⺠The amount of excreted metabolite in urine was 0.31-0.67% of the ingested dose.
