Abstract
► Olive leaves, persistent tissue the whole year, are analysed by MIR spectroscopy. ► Five olive cultivars are discriminated by PCA of MIR spectra provided by leaf. ► PLS DA allows to correct classification (100%) of five olive cultivars by analysing leaf. ► MIR spectroscopy can be used for identifying olive cultivar by analysing leaves.
