Abstract
► PCDD/F-DL-PCB mixture and PBDEs in pigs' liver, lung, kidney, subcutaneous fat, mesentery and muscle was investigated. ► PCDD/F-DL-PCB mixture and PBDEs were physiologically based toxicokinetic accumulated in the different tissues. ► The liver's higher concentrating potency for dioxin-like pollutants make it a high-risk edible part. ► The physiologically based toxicokinetic assessments are necessary for evaluating edible tissue in animal source foods.
