Abstract
⺠PCDD/F-DL-PCB mixture and PBDEs in pigs' liver, lung, kidney, subcutaneous fat, mesentery and muscle was investigated. ⺠PCDD/F-DL-PCB mixture and PBDEs were physiologically based toxicokinetic accumulated in the different tissues. ⺠The liver's higher concentrating potency for dioxin-like pollutants make it a high-risk edible part. ⺠The physiologically based toxicokinetic assessments are necessary for evaluating edible tissue in animal source foods.
