Abstract
► Four nicotinic acid derivatives were used to compare anti-tyrosinase and antioxidant activities. ► NAH exhibited mushroom tyrosinase inhibitory activity which was better than kojic acid. ► NAH and NAH-M showed DPPH and hydroxyl radical scavenging activities. ► NAH and NAH-M will be potentials for uses in cosmetics or food processing.
