Abstract
⺠Two licorice species were identified. ⺠A simple method was developed to analyse 15 bioactive components. ⺠Only Glycyrrhiza uralensis was found to contain quercetin. ⺠G. uralensis had slightly better radical scavenging activity. ⺠G. uralensis also had higher reducing ability.
