Abstract
► Liposomal nanovesicle (LN) as the nanocarrier for ginseng extract (GE). ► Antioxidant ability of GE reduces as homogenisation pressure and time increase. ► GELNs with higher PEG mol% give higher ginsenoside encapsulation and reducing powder. ► GELN presents higher ΔΨm and lower apoptotic rate in H2O2 damaged cells than GE. ► Encapsulation inside LN enhances the intracellular antioxidative activity of GE.
