Abstract
► A 14 kDa allergen (PA I) was purified from the crimson sea bream. ► PA I was identified as a parvalbumin isoform. ► PA I showed lower IgG and IgE reactivities than other fish parvalbumins. ► The amino acid sequence of PA I was determined by cDNA cloning. ► Amino acid residues peculiar to PA I are observed at several positions.
