Abstract
⺠Essential oils from Rwandese hepatoprotective herbs present antioxidant properties. ⺠GC-MS analysis determined the composition of all four essential oils. ⺠Major components with antioxidant properties are unsaturated mono-and sesquiterpenes. ⺠The lipid peroxidation inhibitory activity is superior for the total methanolic extracts.
