Abstract
⺠Taking it into consideration that Crataegus pinnatifida is a medicine and food material. ⺠The leaves of C. pinnatifida was subjected to phytochemical investigation resulting in the isolation of four novel compounds. ⺠Their chemical structures were elucidated by their physicochemical properties and spectral data. ⺠Cytotoxicity of the new compounds was assayed against selected human glioma (U87) cell lines. ⺠To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of sesquiterpene isolated from this plant.
