Abstract
⺠Citronellol is regioselectively bromohydroxylated by chloroperoxidase. ⺠The catalysed reaction is non-stereospecific. ⺠The bromohydroxylation is a green chemistry approach. ⺠The obtained bromohydrin can be easily converted into rose oxide.
