Abstract
⺠Cubeb berries in the markets were studied for the identification of their origins. ⺠DART-MS fingerprinting combined with multivariate analysis was employed. ⺠Cubebene was identified as a marker molecule for Piper cubeba. ⺠All cubeb fruits from Korean markets were Litsea cubeba. ⺠Rapid identification of cubeb fruits can be possible by DART-MS fingerprinting.
