Abstract
► Bioinformatic analysis showed that bean proteins contain bioactive peptides. ► Highest antioxidant activity was found in bean protein isolate hydrolysates. ► Phaseolin and lectin hydrolysates showed a pro-oxidant effect. ► Phaseolin hydrolysates had higher copper and iron chelating activity.
