Abstract
► The article consists of a GC-C-IRMS method developed for the evaluation of lemon oil. ► Authenticity assessments evaluated by GC-C-IRMS are supported by GC-FID, Es-GC and CD segment values. ► Industrial and commercial lemon oils of different geographical origin were analysed. ► GC-C-IRMS resulted to be a useful tool to detect sophistications in lemon oils.
